Aquila Corde Armoniche Oud Supernylgut String Set (Arabic Tuning Do-Do)
is a high-performance 11-string set designed to replicate the authentic tone of historical natural gut strings while providing modern durability and tuning stability.

Key Features & Specifications
  • Material: The treble strings are made from Supernylgut, a patented synthetic material that mimics the density and acoustic properties of natural gut.
  • Wound Strings: Bass strings are typically silver-plated copper winding over a multifilament core. Notably, the 3rd strings in this set use a special grey-colored metal blend rather than standard copper.
  • Tuning: Specifically gauged for Arabic Tuning (Do - Do): C'C' - Gg - Dd - Aa - Ff - C.
  • Tension: Features a standard working tension of 3.4 Kg per string, providing a balanced, traditional feel.
  • Sound Profile: Described as producing a rich, round, and warm sound with a prompt attack and high harmonic content.
