The MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) body makes for a good sound chamber, and also resists cracking and splitting; for years of trouble-free performance. The two sets of snare wires provide crisp and tight snare response and the built-in bass port provide rich, deep tones.

The 2020 edition of Primero Cajons also feature replaceable / interchangeable faceplates.
